First off, I want to thank the following people: AmbushMartyr, Reintje, the German Forums, and most of all Maarg for their continued efforts in explaining the Arcane Transmutor to many confused people.

This is a Straigtforward guide pretty much. No fancy pictures, has an example and pretty much explains it as bluntly as I can. If you didn't get it, get your friend that can understand to do it and pay him alot of money.

How to use the Magic Box:

You'll need:

An item you want to upgrade

Level 28 Leather Gloves
(Y)+8 Dexterity FOX III
(Y)+8 Intelligence

3 Items of good quality stats on them:

Level 23 2H Hammer
(Y)+10 Stamina BRUTE III
(Y)+20 Attack Power


Level 27 Long Crossbow of Accuracy
(Y)+10 Dexterity REFLEX III
(Y)+20 Defense


Level 30 Silent Guard
(Y)+20 Defense RESILIENCE IV
(Y)+20 Magic Defense

3 Power Stones of the same type
(G)+5 Defense DEFENSE I
(G)+17 Maximum HP LIFE II

Now the fun part!

You want to transmute the three items with the power stones to turn them into mana stones. Input the Power stone in one box, and the Level 23 2H Hammer, you should get this:

Mana Stone
(G)+5 Defense DEFENSE I
(G)+17 Maximum HP LIFE II
(Y)+10 Stamina BRUTE III
(Y)+20 Attack Power

Repeat the above with the other two items and you should get this:

Mana Stone
(G)+5 Defense DEFENSE I
(G)+17 Maximum HP LIFE II
(Y)+10 Dexterity REFLEX III
(Y)+20 Defense

Mana Stone
(G)+5 Defense DEFENSE I
(G)+17 Maximum HP LIFE II
(Y)+20 Defense RESILIENCE IV
(Y)+20 Magic Defense


Now input the three newly created mana stones in the boxes, and add the item you wanted to upgrade. In this case it was the Level 28 Leather Gloves. If all goes well you should get this:

(G)+5 Defense DEFENSE I
(G)+17 Maximum HP LIFE II
(Y)+8 Dexterity FOX III
(Y)+8 Intelligence
(Y)+10 Stamina BRUTE III
(Y)+20 Attack Power
(Y)+10 Dexterity REFLEX III
(Y)+20 Defense
(Y)+20 Defense RESILIENCE IV
(Y)+20 Magic Defense


Overview:

1. You can't use the same type of rune in an item. Can't have 2 BRUTE III's in a item, they will cancel out and you won't get the desired stats you want.

2. If you're faced with an item that you want to upgrade, that has something like this:

(Y)+8 Dexterity FOX III
(Y)+8 Intelligence
(G)+5 Attack Power ATTACK I

Then you'll need to find an item that will cancel out the +5 Attack Power.

(Y)+10 Stamina BRUTE III
(Y)+20 Attack Power
(G)+5 Attack Power ATTACK I

If two runes are in conflict with each other, they will cancel out each other out and you won't get it. So ATTACK I + ATTACK 1 will cancel out. Same goes if you had BRUTE III + BRUTE III. Definitely check what item has what rune on it before you transmute.

3. Remember, you can only stack a maximum of 10 Stats per item (not including bonuses and rune slots). Here's some combos to keep you in mind:

2 Greens, 8 Yellows
4 Greens, 6 Yellows (tricky item)
4 Greens, 4 Yellows
6 Greens, 2 Yellows
7 Greens, 2 Yellows
All Green

4. If you run out of Transmutor charges, you have to do Daily Quests in order to get more charges. Visit Lamonti in Varanas Class Hall to exchange your Bierdine Coins for Charges, then right click the Charges in your Bag, to replenish your supply of them.
